Unfortunately Dirty Projectors have to cancel the Haldern Pop, Nuits Secretes, Field Day and Summer Sundae festivals that they were scheduled to play between August 7th and 10th. Here's what Dave from Dirty Projectors wrote about this: "We had to cancel these shows. We really would have liked to play them, and we regret disappointing anybody. There are a few reasons, but the biggest is that we've been touring a lot already. Our voices are very tired, and we want to rest them. It's hard to sing such intricate lines against such loud instruments every night, and now our voices need to be quiet for a while. They will return, more intricate, and against even louder instruments, in the near future." Dirty Projectors will play one more European show this year at the >> Iceland Airwaves Festival in October.
